Hand in Hand Congolese Community lends a marquee, floor carpet, chairs and lights free of charge to families holding a funeral in South London.
What we lend
Ask for everything or only what you need. Availability updates live.
How it works

Register
Create your account once with your name, phone and address.
- 2
Request
Fill in the online form, choose the items and sign the agreement with your name.
- 3
Collect
An admin approves, then every part is counted with you and you confirm on your phone.
- 4
Return
Bring everything back clean, dry and complete. It is counted again and the loan is closed.
Free, with three simple conditions
- You pay the person who puts the marquee up and takes it down.
- You keep everything clean, dry and in the condition you received it.
- You return every part. Anything missing or damaged is paid for by the borrower.
Keep it as long as the ceremony lasts
There is no time limit: keep the equipment until the end of the matanga, however many days or weeks it takes. Just keep us informed of the return date.
